Fine-needle treatment to renew skin
Microneedling uses a device with very fine needles to make tiny pricks in the skin. As the skin heals, it makes new collagen and elastin. It suits most skin types and has little downtime.
Your treatment is given by one of our aesthetic doctors in a private suite at 9 Queen Anne Street, inside a CQC-registered hospital. Your doctor may suggest exosome therapy as an optional add-on.

How it works
How microneedling works
The tiny pricks start your skin’s natural healing process. This encourages new collagen and elastin in the deeper layers of the skin.
Exosome therapy is a serum that can be applied straight after microneedling, while the tiny channels in the skin are open. Your doctor may suggest it as an optional add-on.
Aesthetic medicine
How the treatment works
We apply numbing cream first, so the treatment is comfortable. Your doctor moves the device over your skin, adjusting the needle depth for each area. Most people feel a mild, warm scratching.
If you choose exosome therapy, it is applied straight afterwards. The whole treatment takes about 60 minutes.

Afterwards
What to expect afterwards
Your skin will usually be red for up to a day. Most people return to their normal routine the next day. Avoid strong skincare, direct sun and hard exercise for 24 hours.
Changes in texture and fine lines build gradually as your skin makes new collagen, and results vary. Your doctor will usually suggest a course of three to four sessions.
Treatment areas
What microneedling treats
Microneedling can be used on the face, neck, chest and scalp, and suits all skin types.
Full face: texture and pores
The face is the most common area. Treatment can help with texture, the look of pores, fine lines and early loss of firmness, with gradual, natural-looking changes.
Neck and décolletage
The neck and chest can be treated to help with crepey skin and early changes in texture.
Acne scarring
Microneedling is often used for indented acne scars, encouraging new collagen in the scarred skin.
Scalp
Microneedling can be used on the scalp as part of our hair treatments, alongside HairCell Bioelectric therapy. Your doctor will explain what it can and cannot do for you.

Aesthetic medicine
Is microneedling right for me?
Microneedling suits adults of all skin types and tones who want to improve skin texture, fine lines or early signs of ageing. With little downtime, it is a good first treatment if you are new to aesthetic medicine.
You will see one of our doctors for an aesthetic consultation first. It costs £350, which is credited against your treatment. Book a consultation and your doctor will tell you whether microneedling suits you.
